Russian invaders attack Sumy Region with mortar systems, drone

Russian troops have fired at Sumy Region with mortar systems, as well as attacked the region with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) dropping munitions. One person was killed and two injured in explosion.
The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“At about 02:00 p.m., an enemy UAV dropped munitions (rocket-propelled grenade) on the Velyka Pysarivka community. Two people were injured and one killed in explosion,” the report states.
According to Zhyvytskyi, after 12:00 (noon), Russian troops fired at the Esman community with mortar systems. A total of 14 explosions were recorded. In addition, at about 05:00 p.m., a total of 30 mortar shells hit the Velyka Pysarivka community.
A reminder that Russian troops are continuously firing at the border areas of Sumy Region and Chernihiv Region from the territory of Russia.
