Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units destroy enemy missile over Zaporizhzhia Region

In the morning of June 7, 2022, Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units shot down an enemy missile over Zaporizhzhia Region.

The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Starukh during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“At about 07:30 a.m., Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units shot down a Russian missile over Zaporizhzhia Region,” Starukh said.

In his words, Russian invaders are still attempting to advance farther in the east of Zaporizhzhia Region.

Battles are raging at the contact line. The enemy is still planning to seize the city of Zaporizhzhia.

A reminder that about 60% of Zaporizhzhia Region’s territory has been temporarily seized by Russian troops. Hostilities are underway in some areas of the region.
