1 killed, 8 injured in enemy shelling of Kharkiv region

Over the past day, one person was killed and eight more were injured in the Russian shelling of Kharkiv region.

"Last night, the Russian occupiers fired on Kyivsky and Slobidsky districts of Kharkiv city. In Saltivka district, a shell hit a school. One woman was killed, one man was injured. Two more civilian residents of Kharkiv were injured in the daytime shelling," Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Moreover, according to Synehubov, one person was injured as the invaders fired on the village of Tsyrkuny of Kharkiv district over the past day. Russians also fired on the town of Chuhuiv, the village of Korobochkyne, and the town of Kluhynno-Bashkyrivka of Chuhuiv district. Four civilians were injured.

"Fighting continues in the region. In Kharkiv and Izium directions, the enemy is mainly focused on defending and holding the occupied territories. All Russians’ attempts to attack were unsuccessful. Our military continues to inflict losses on the enemy," the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration stressed.

As reported, the Russian troops continue to shell Kharkiv city and the region from MLRS.
