Haidai refutes fake news about ‘Luhansk cauldron’: Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway remains open

Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai has refuted the fake news about Russians cutting off Luhansk Region from Ukraine and blocking the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway.

The relevant statement was made by Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Luhansk Region has not been cut off! The Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway has not been blocked. We have access to Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk. In the afternoon, the mass media began to spread the news that Russian occupiers had allegedly cut off the ‘road of life’. This is untrue. The highway is shot through, but even today we have managed to deliver humanitarian goods. As of 01:00 p.m., road traffic was still possible,” Haidai wrote.

Haidai expressed his outrage over the irresponsible and manipulative headlines that some media outlets had used and urged everyone to trust the official information sources only.
