Ukraine’s Armed Forces eliminate 36 invaders, 3 tanks, Grad launcher in south

"In Mykolayiv and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct hostilities and strengthen its positions with the preparation of reserve positions for retreat. The invaders have not been conducting active offensive operations for a long time. The positions of our troops and settlements with civilians come under ruthless enemy artillery and mortar fire with about 70 attacks a day," the Operational Command "South" posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

At nightfall, the enemy fired MLRS on Mykolayiv city suburbs. Suburban infrastructure was affected. No one was injured.

"The enemy launched two airstrikes, using aircraft, on Odesa region… and destroyed a beach toilet," reads the report.

Subsequently, the invaders hit an industrial enterprise with fertilizers. An explosion and fire broke out. The State Emergency Service units quickly put it out.

Neither casualties nor a threat to the environment have been reported.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units and aircraft inflicted the following losses on the enemy over the past day: 36 invaders, three T-72 tanks, a Grad multiple rocket launcher, vehicles.

The enemy's naval group is represented by seven large landing ships and always at least one cruise missile carrier.

"The situation on the border with Transnistria is stable and under control. Counter-sabotage measures are underway, reliable protection of the state border is ensured, the situation in the unrecognized republic is constantly monitored, the defense forces of southern Ukraine are ready to perform their assigned tasks," the Operational Command "South" stressed.
