Ukraine’s Armed Forces liberate one more locality in Kharkiv direction

The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Dementiyivka in Kharkiv direction. The Russian troops continue their offensive in the Eastern Operational Zone.

"The enemy continues its offensive in the Eastern Operational Zone. It fires on the entire line of contact and into the depths of the defense of our troops in Donetsk operational area and in Slovyansk direction, takes measures to strengthen the offensive group," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

In Volyn and Polissya directions, the Belarusian armed forces continue to guard the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

In Siversky direction, the enemy units fired artillery and mortars on the settlements of Yanzhulivka and Prohres in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, respectively.

The enemy continues to equip additional firing positions and defensive structures in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions.

In Slobozhansky direction, in the border areas of Belgorod and Voronezh regions, the invaders continue to maintain the readiness of units of the 32nd air defense division of the 6th air force and the air defense units military space forces of the Russian Federation.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy's main efforts were focused on maintaining the occupied frontiers and firing on the Ukrainian units. The enemy tried to counterattack to regain the lost positions.

"The locality of Dementiyivka was liberated due to the offensive of our troops. The enemy conducts an offensive near the locality of Ternova, the fighting continues," the General Staff reports.

In Slovyansk direction, the occupiers, with the support of artillery, conducted military operations in the area of Dovhenke but failed and suffered losses. The enemy increased the intensity of air reconnaissance with the use of UAVs.

In Donetsk direction, the enemy fired on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the line of contact from the entire range of weapons, including aircraft.

In Lyman direction, the occupiers try to hold the previously occupied frontiers. The enemy used aircraft to strike civilian objects in the area of Toshkivka, Zolote, Avdiivka, Volodymyrivka, and Vodiane.

In Sievierodonetsk direction, the enemy made futile assault attempts in the area of Nyzhne.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducts offensive operations, trying to improve its tactical situation. The invaders carried out assault operations in the area of Katerynivka but failed.

In Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted offensive operations in the area of ​​ Novoselivka, suffered losses, and retreated. The assaults of the Russian invaders near Novobakhmutivka and Vesele were unsuccessful.

In Kurakhove direction, the enemy launched an unsuccessful offensive near the locality of Pobeda.

The occupiers did not carry out active hostilities in Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia directions but fired artillery and mortars on infrastructure facilities and residential buildings in the area of Novoandriyivka, Kamyanske, Orikhiv, Olhivske, and Poltavka.

In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy fired on the settlements of Lupareve, Posad-Pokrovske, Vysunsk, Osokorivka, and Novovorontsovka. The enemy continued to strengthen its positions. An Orlan-10 drone was used to adjust the artillery fire.

No significant changes were recorded in Bessarabsky direction.
