Ukraine controls 10% of the territory of the Luhansk region, which includes the cities of Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, the outskirts of Rubizhne and the Hirske community.

Serhii Haidai, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Ukraine controls 10% of the territory of the Luhansk region. Today under our control are the outskirts of Rubizhne, the cities of Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk (including villages and towns of the communities), the Hirske community and the area along the Lysychansk-Bakhmut road up to the border with the Donetsk region," he wrote.

According to him, the Russians deliberately shelled a building of the Sievierodonetsk hospital, causing a fire. About a dozen shells were deliberately fired at the building of the medical institution.

Before the shelling, there were 300 beds for patients, now there are only 100. Some 10,000 people remain in the city and another 5,000 in the neighboring villages.

On May 14, Russian invaders launched 11 artillery attacks on Sievierodonetsk. They fired on residential houses, the chemical plant, technical school and hospital. Last evening alone, nine civilians were injured by enemy attacks.
