Ukrainian military repels 18 enemy attacks in JFO area on May 12

"The situation is difficult, but under control. Along the entire line of defense, the enemy uses combat aircraft, multiple rocket launchers, large-caliber artillery, tanks, mortars of various systems, launching missile and bomb strikes on civilian infrastructure, peaceful residential neighborhoods, destroying office buildings, hospitals, schools and children's kindergartens. Ukrainian defenders from a Joint Forces group repulsed 18 enemy attacks today," the statement said.

According to the statement, over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Joint Forces destroyed 13 tanks, eight artillery systems (one of them MLRS), 27 armored fighting vehicles, two units of special engineering equipment, and five vehicles.

In addition, air defense units shot down a Russian Ka-52 helicopter and four Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles in the Ukrainian Donbas.
