Russian military fired on a boarding school for children with special needs in Luhansk region.

This was stated by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai, Ukrinform reports.

"The Russians opened fire on Horske. The building of the region’s special school, where children with special needs studied, was hit The facility was refurbished and newly equipped. I say it in the past tense ‘thanks’ to the Russians,” Haidai reported.

The official said the strike occurred at around 10:00 on Tuesday.

Also on May 10, the enemy opened fire 15 times on residential areas and infrastructure across the region. The trunk gas pipeline in Sieiverodonetsk was damaged, leaving the city without gas supplies. The city is also in blackout for the second day.

In Vrubivka, six households and a cultural facility were damaged. Three apartment blocks were hit Rubizhne and two – in Lysychansk. In Severodonetsk, it was a hotel and an apartment block.

In the Sieiverodonetsk direction, the Russians tried unsuccessfully to establish control over Rubizhne.

The enemy carried out fruitless assaults in the areas of Nizhnie, Toshkivka, and Orikhovo.

On the front lines in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, 12 enemy attacks were repulsed: 12 tanks, four artillery systems, 19 armored combat vehicles, two units of special engineering equipment, and seven trucks were destroyed.

Air defense units shot down a enemy Mi-24 helicopter and three Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.

As Ukrinform reported, on May 10, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Haidai, said that the Luhansk region was left without any utility supplies: there was no electricity, water, gas or mobile signal in the settlements controlled by Ukrainian forces.
