Ukraine’s Armed Forces destroy three boats, Tor missile system on Zmiinyi Island

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were recurrently striking Zmiinyi (Snake) Island. As a result, two Raptor boats, a small landing craft, and a Tor air defense missile system were destroyed, and 80 invaders sank to the bottom.

“Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched many strikes on Zmiinyi Island. Two Raptor boats were destroyed and another one was damaged. A small landing craft was wrecked, 80 ruscists sank to the bottom. A Tor air defense missile system was also smashed. Our Zmiinyi Island will be either Ukrainian or deserted," Serhiy Bratchuk, Spokesperson for the Odesa Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

In addition, on the night of May 8, the units of the Air Command “South” detected and destroyed two Kh-type cruise missiles fired by an enemy fighter from the Black Sea on Odesa region.

On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.
