Missile strike on Lviv damages three electrical substations

Tuesday's missile strike on Lviv has damaged three electric substations, with teams working to restore power supply.

Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Missile strike on Lviv, three electric substations damaged. We are working to restore electricity supply," Kozytskyi said.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi also confirmed there was no electricity and water supply in part of the city.

"Two pumping stations are without power. We are restoring water supply through alternative sources of electricity," he said.

Several regions of Ukraine were hit by enemy missiles on the evening of May 3. Missile strikes hit the Lviv, Kirovohrad and Zakarpattia regions. Ukrainian air defense systems intercepted some missiles in the Vinnytsia region, with the debris of the downed missiles currently being searched for.
