On April 29, a pit with the bodies of three men, who had been tortured and brutally killed by Russian soldiers, was found in Bucha district of Kyiv region.

As the Kyiv region police posted on Facebook, the grave was found in the woods near the village of Myrotske.

"The victims were tortured for a long time; bullet wounds were detected in their extremities. In the end, each of the men was shot in the ear. This is another mass grave made by the occupiers in Bucha district, the long-suffering district where more than a thousand citizens were killed and tortured," said Kyiv region police chief Andriy Nebytov.

The victims' hands were tied, cloth was wrapped around their faces to close their eyes, and some men had gags in their mouths. There are traces of torture and gunshots on bodies.

According to preliminary data, the invaders tried to hide the traces of torture of Ukrainian citizens, so they threw the bodies into a pit and covered them with earth.

The Kyiv region police already inspected the bodies and sent them for forensic examination.

In total, investigators examined 1,202 bodies of civilians killed by Russian invaders in Kyiv region.

As reported, the Prosecutor General’s Office together with the Bucha Town Council organizes a free DNA analysis for relatives of those killed during the Russian occupation of Bucha district.
