Russian invaders launch air strike on Luhansk Region, destructions and casualties reported

Russian invaders have launched an air strike on the Hirske territorial community in Luhansk Region, killing at least one civilian.

The relevant statement was made by Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russian troops have been continuously shelling settlements within the Hirske territorial community since 05:00 a.m. They are using the Grad multiple rocket launcher and artillery systems. An air strike was launched. Lots of destructions; and one person has already been found killed. Rescue works are underway. A power substation in Hirske has also burnt down,” Haidai wrote.

A reminder that many residential houses, infrastructure facilities and educational institutions have already been destroyed in Russia’s shelling of Luhansk Region. All hospitals across the region were damaged. More than 60,000 civilians have refused to evacuate and are remaining in the region, according to the data from Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
