In Rubizhne and Popasna, Luhansk region, positional battles continue. The enemy’s attempts to capture the two towns are seeing no success.

That’s according to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai, Ukrinform reports.

“Positional battles continue in Rubizhne and Popasna non-stop. The enemy is unable to capture the towns. Our defenders repel multiple attacks. The line of defense remains stable. Orcs are suffering significant losses,” Haidai wrote.

According to the officials, residential areas are under constant enemy fire.

Popasna, which has almost been destroyed, as well as Lysychansk and the towns of the Hirske community were under massive fire.

The head of the Administration said that Russian troops were firing their heavy weapons on residential areas in Lysychansk, Popasna and Hirske. The shelling continues, while reports on casualties are being verified.
