Russia has deployed 58 cruise missiles in Black Sea – Ukraine’s defense official

Ukrainian intelligence says Russia has deployed as many as eight cruise missile carriers in the Black Sea.

This was announced by Defense Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Motuzianyk, who spoke at a briefing on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Motuzianyk noted that enemy naval groups in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov have isolated the zone of ​​hostilities, conducting reconnaissance and providing fire support to their troops in the littoral areas.

“I would like to note that according to our intelligence, there are currently eight carriers of Kalibr naval-based cruise missiles in the Black Sea. There’s currently 58 of them in total," said the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense.
