The press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"On April 22, 2022, after the liberation of the village of Husarivka, Izium district, from Russian invaders, the bodies of two people – a man and a woman -- were found in the basement of one of the houses. It was established that Russian soldiers tortured the man and the woman during the occupation. After that, their bodies were burnt," the statement said.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
