As many as 938 educational facilities and almost 300 hospitals have been destroyed as a result of Russian attacks during the full-scale war in Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his speech to the parliament of South Korea, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to him, Russian missile and air strikes on Ukraine have already destroyed hundreds of infrastructure facilities essential for normal economic and social life for Ukrainians.

"Russian missiles and airstrikes are destroying oil depots, destroying food warehouses, airports, train stations, manufacturing plants, and universities. To date, 938 educational facilities have been destroyed. Almost 300 hospitals have been destroyed,” Zelensky said.

Zelensky stressed that this is a special tactic of Russian troops. He is convinced that enemy forces are deliberately destroying residential neighborhoods and entire Ukrainian cities using artillery, mortars and tanks.

"Not one city, not even two or three. These are tens of cities that the Russian military simply tried to wipe off the face of the earth,” Zelensky added.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
