The Ukrainian military held the village of Moshchun, which could have become a gateway for the enemy on the way to the capital.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny posted a video showing the village of Moshchun on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Holding this outpost was a crucial task. After all, Moshchun could have become a gateway for the enemy on the way to the capital. However, our soldiers showed miracles of military mastery. Not only land but also water burned under the invaders' feet. Ukrainian defenders blew up bridges and pontoon crossings to prevent the enemy from advancing. They held Moshchun. And by doing that, protected Kyiv," Zaluzhny wrote.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed that the battle for each city and village of our country in this war was worth being described in a separate book.

"Every soldier and civilian who resisted the occupier, who supports the liberators, deserves a separate story. We remember everyone – both dead and alive," Zaluzhny wrote.

The village of Moshchun was liberated from Russian invaders on March 21. The Ukrainian military worked in concert, and many enemy hardware units were destroyed on the approaches to the locality. The enemy forces included infantry, special operations units, assault troops, the Kadyrovites.

As reported, from February 24 to April 10, the Russian invaders lost in Ukraine about 19,300 personnel, 722 tanks, 1,911 armored personnel vehicles, 342 artillery systems, 108 MLRS, 55 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 1,384 vehicles, 152 aircraft, 137 helicopters, 7 boats / cutters, 76 fuel tanks, 112 UAVs of operational and tactical level, 25 special equipment units, 4 mobile SRBM systems.
