Russia continues to build up the grouping of troops in Donetsk and Tavriysky directions.

“The invaders do not abandon attempts to launch an offensive in the direction of Popasna and Sievierodonetsk but have no success,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

In the Southern Buh direction, Russian troops fought in the area of Oleksandrivka. The occupiers tried to open fire to inflict damage on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area but did not achieve their goal.

According to the General Staff, in Slobozhansky direction, the Russian army continues to block the city of Kharkiv, shelling residential neighborhoods with artillery, including MLRS and heavy mortars.

It is noted that the units of the Russian troops have been completely withdrawn from the territory of Sumy region to Russia.

On February 24, Russian president Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops shell and destroy infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
