Russian forces have already lost 19,000 personnel - General Staff

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the estimated losses of the invaders have reached 19,000 personnel.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote this on Facebook.

The total estimated losses of the enemy, from February 24 to April 8, are: tanks – 700, armored combat vehicles – 1,891, artillery systems - 333, MLRS - 108, air defense means - 55, aircraft - 150, helicopters - 135, vehicles – 1,361, ships/boats - 7, UAVs of the operational and tactical level – 112, special equipment – 25, and mobile SRBM systems – 4.

Data on losses are being clarified as the calculation is complicated by the high intensity of hostilities.

Since February 24, Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
