Barcelona collects 17 tonnes of food for Ukrainian refugees

Spanish football club Barcelona continues to provide humanitarian aid to Ukrainians who left their country due to the Russian military invasion.

According to Mundo Deportivo, within a week of the campaign, 17 tonnes of food and baby food were collected for Ukrainian refugees at collection points near the Camp Nou stadium, Ukrinform reports.

In March, Barcelona announced a joint campaign with the Red Cross to collect food for infants and children who arrived in Catalonia with their families from Ukraine.

On February 24, Russia launched the first missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and started a large-scale invasion of the country. Russia's war against Ukraine has been going on for 42 days.
