Ukraine repulses seven enemy attacks in Donetsk, Luhansk directions

Ukrainian defenders on Sunday repulsed seven attacks by Russian invaders and destroyed two enemy warplanes, two armored vehicles, and 43 military trucks in Donetsk and Luhansk directions.

This was reported on Facebook by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation HQ, according to Ukrinform.

"Thanks to the skillful efforts of the Joint Forces, seven enemy attacks have been successfully repulsed so far this day. Our soldiers inflicted losses on the Russian occupiers," the statement said.

According to the press service, on April 3, Ukrainian defenders destroyed two armored vehicles, 43 military vehicles and a mortar – along with its crew.

In addition, air defense units shot down two warplanes and an unmanned aerial vehicle, and hit a Russian Il-22 aircraft.

Throughout the week, the Joint Forces repulsed 51 enemy attacks, having destroyed 46 main battle tanks, 92 armored vehicles and 87 military trucks, 27 artillery systems, 10 unmanned aerial vehicles, four warplanes, and a cruise missile.

As Ukrinform reported, the Russian military death toll as of April 3 amounted to nearly 18,000. The enemy also lost 644 tanks, 1,830 armored combat vehicles, 325 artillery systems, 105 MLR systems, 54 air defense systems, 143 warplanes, 134 helicopters, and other equipment.
