More than 600 explosive items seized in Irpin

In the city of Irpin, Kyiv Region, rescuers have found and seized more than 600 explosive items.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On April 2, 2022, Kyiv Region’s rescuers inspected the area of hostilities in Irpin, Bucha District. In the course of inspection, a total of 634 explosive items were seized,” the report states.

Clearing operations in Kyiv Region are still underway.

A reminder that the city of Irpin was liberated from Russian invaders on March 28, 2022. On April 2, 2022, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported the entire Kyiv Region had been liberated from Russian troops.
