Russia’s combat losses in Ukraine reach 17.8 thousand troops

Russia has lost about 17.8 thousand troops in Ukraine since the Russian invasion started.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Between February 24, 2022 and April 2, 2022, the enemy’s total combat losses included also 631 tanks, 1,776 armored fighting vehicles, 317 artillery systems, 100 multiple launch rocket systems, 54 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 143 aircrafts, 134 helicopters, 1,236 motor vehicles, seven boats/cutters, 76 fuel tanks, 87 unmanned aerial vehicles, 24 special equipment units and four mobile SRBM systems.

The data are yet to be updated. The calculation is complicated due to the high intensity of hostilities.
