Police expose almost 500 saboteurs since Russian invasion

Since February 24, Ukrainian police have exposed 486 people involved in acts of sabotage.

"In total, since February 24, the police have exposed 486 people involved in the acts of sabotage throughout the country," Chief of the National Police Ihor Klymenko posted on Facebook.

According to him, on March 28, the National Police officers detained five people who had been gathering information for the Russian invaders and supporting the enemy.

In particular, during an inspection in Kirovohrad region, law enforcement officers found in a local resident’s phone text messages about the location of missile strikes on various objects in Ukraine and photos of topographic maps of Kropyvnytskyi and its outskirts.

In Lviv region, a native of Simferopol, involved in subversive and destructive activities in the region.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, police exposed three citizens who had been collecting photos of buildings, structures, checkpoints, volunteer centers and communicating with representatives of the aggressor country through messengers.

All detainees were handed over to the Security Service of Ukraine for further inspections.

On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
