12 people killed in Russian airstrike on government building in Mykolaiv

The Interior Ministry’s press service wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“At about 08:45 on March 29, the strike hit the nine-story building of the regional administration. As a result, the central section of the building from the 9th to the 1st floor was destroyed, without further burning. The bodies of 12 people were found at the scene of the destruction, 33 people were injured,” the report says.

Units of the State Emergency Service rescued and released 18 people from the rubble. They were handed over to ambulance crews. Search and rescue operations continue.

The war with Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.
