Russia is increasing its fleet in the waters of the Sea of Azov. The passage through the Kerch Strait was recorded by the small minesweeper Valentin Pikul, the Naberezhnye Chelny missile boat, and two landing vessels.

That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

The enemy failed to achieve the main goals of a large-scale war – besieging Kyiv and advancing to the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In part, Russian troops have succeeded in creating a land corridor between the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and part of Donetsk region.

Measures are being taken in Russia to replenish their manpower losses by forming and sending to Belarus consolidated units from the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade (Kyakhta), the 5th іузфкфеу panzer brigade (Ulan-Ude) of the 36th army, and the 38th separate motorized rifle brigade (Ekaterinoslavka) of the 35th army, and 40th separate brigade of marines (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) of the Pacific Fleet.

In the Volyn direction, the enemy undertook no active moves. The likelihood of Russia involving the Belarusian armed forces in aggression against Ukraine remains high.

In Polissia, the enemy ran no offensive operations, focusing their efforts on shelling the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Nova Buda, Nalyvaykivka, and Ozershchyna, relocating own units, providing logistical support, and trying to gain a foothold on the occupied frontiers. The rear area (field camp) of the eastern military district troops has been deployed in the Chornobyl Zone.

In the Sivershchyna direction, enemy troops continue to hold their ground on the previously captured frontiers, trying to build up their grouping and blockade Chernihiv. The shelling of the city's infrastructure hasn’t stopped. Air reconnaissance with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles continues. In order to reduce resistance of local civilians, the enemy is distributing the relevant leaflets.

The enemy advance in the direction of Brovary was unsuccessful. The aggressors were stopped before moved to the defense and trying to consolidate their positions.

In Slobozhanshchyna, the enemy is trying to hold positions on the approaches to Sumy and Kharkiv, recovering losses in equipment and manpower. They don’t stop using aircraft and artillery to shell residential areas of cities.

In the area of Izium, the Russian army made an attempt to penetrate Ukraine’s defenses from the south, in the area of Kamyanka, before being stopped in the area of Tikhotske. The enemy forces there are being attacked and destroyed.

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy continues to recover losses, regrouping units and at the same time firing artillery and making warplane sorties on the infrastructure of peaceful cities. They don’t give up the intention to advance to the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

In the Tavriya direction, in the temporarily occupied territories, measures are being taken to prepare for the establishment of the occupying power, in particular by Rosgvardiya units. Measures were taken to blockade the Kherson railway station.

The enemy is increasing its fleet in the waters of the Sea of Azov. The passage through the Kerch Strait was recorded by the small minesweeper Valentin Pikul, the Naberezhnye Chelny missile boat, and two landing vessels.

Ukraine’s Forces pursue their defensive operation, focusing their efforts on preventing the enemy breakthrough, defending the state border of Ukraine, destroying the enemy on land, in the air, and at sea, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasizes.
