Almost 4,500 civilians evacuated from Velyka Dymerka, Kyiv region, on Mar 21

Almost 4,500 civilians were evacuated from the village of Velyka Dymerka, Kyiv region, yesterday, March 21.

The Interior Ministry wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

On March 21, Kyiv region police, along with local government bodies, rescuers, and the Red Cross, evacuated citizens from the temporarily occupied territories of the Brovary district to safer areas.

Thus, more than 4,370 locals, including 1,873 children, were evacuated from the village of Velyka Dymerka.

Сivilians were carried by more than 40 buses and almost 640 private cars from the dangerous areas.

As Ukrinform reported, seven of the eight agreed humanitarian corridors operated on March 21. A total of 8,057 civilians were evacuated.
