Four people have been killed and 10 civilians have been wounded in shelling by Russian troops in the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk Region, over the past 24 hours.

The relevant statement was made by Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Over the past 24 hours, four people have been killed and 10 civilians have been wounded in shelling in Luhansk Region, all of them – in Rubizhne,” Haidai wrote.

As a result of heavy shelling on Sievierodonetsk, Rubizhne and Popasna, more than 46 facilities have been damaged over the past day, including 12 apartment blocks and 28 detached houses, outbuildings and infrastructure facilities.

Rescuers were involved in extinguishing 16 fires, which broke out due to shelling by Russian troops.

“In addition, today firefighters have dismantled the debris, transported 32 tonnes of water to meet the needs of local residents, delivered more than 11 tonnes of humanitarian aid across bomb shelters,” Haidai noted.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile and air strikes on residential areas in Ukrainian cities and villages, killing civilians in Ukraine.
