The Russian military invasion of Ukraine has largely stalled on all fronts, and Ukrainian resistance remains staunch and well-coordinated.

The UK Ministry of Defense said this in a statement released on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"The Russian invasion of Ukraine has largely stalled on all fronts," the ministry said, citing intelligence.

It also added that Russian forces had made minimal progress on land, sea and air in recent days and they "continue to suffer heavy losses."

At the same time, the ministry said that the resistance of the Ukrainian people remains staunch and well-coordinated.

"The vast majority of Ukrainian territory, including all major cities, remains in Ukrainian hands," the ministry said.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
