Two-thirds of Russian missiles in Ukraine hit civilian buildings – Arestovych

Two-thirds of Russian invaders' missiles fired in Ukraine hit civilian buildings.

Last night, the enemy launched missiles from strategic aircraft and Iskander systems, Oleksiy Arestovych, a non-staff adviser to the Head of the President's Office, said at a briefing, Ukrinform reports.

"[Ukraine’s] Air Force shot down at least three aircraft, one helicopter, and several cruise missiles. In response, the enemy fired missiles from strategic aircraft and Iskander-type ballistic missiles on targets in Ukraine. Losses are being clarified. The civilian targets were damaged, which unfortunately became the signature of the so-called ‘second-strongest army of the world’ – the army of the Russian Federation. Russian propaganda says that its army works with surgical precision, but two-thirds of the missiles actually hit civilian targets. And, apparently, this is done deliberately," he said.

At the same time, the adviser to the Head of the President's Office assured that the military and political leadership of Ukraine controlled the situation.

"Our troops in some [positions] conducted small tactical counterattacks yesterday, which improved the situation in specific areas of defense. Our troops also carried out powerful missile and artillery and air strikes on enemy groups. At least seven such strikes were inflicted over the past day," Arestovych said.

Earlier, the General Staff informed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted devastating blows on groups of occupying troops in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and went on the counteroffensive in some areas as of the morning of March 16.
