"Over the past day, the Russian-occupation forces launched about 50 artillery and mortar attacks on residential areas in Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izium, and Rohan.

Compared to the previous days, the situation is less tense. But Ukraine’s Armed Forces stay alert. Again, we observed certain reconnaissance activity of enemy UAVs," Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov posted on Telegram.

According to Synehubov, the enemy continues to fire on Izium district, hitting a central processing facility near the village of Hlazunivka. As a result, gas caught on fire, one person was injured.

A psychoneurological institution in Oskil, which had come under fire the other day, was reopened. Currently, 350 residents and staff stay there. Evacuation is taking place at the same time.

"Every day, our fighters inflict significant losses on the enemy and prevent them from advancing. In Izium district, the mobile group of air defense units of Ukraine’s Armed Forces shot down a Russian fighter," the head of the administration added.

On February 24, Russian president Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops shell and destroy infrastructure, conduct massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
