In Melitopol, a group of Russian soldiers kidnapped Mayor Ivan Fedorov.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, a deputy head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, wrote on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"According to preliminary information, an hour ago the occupiers kidnapped Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov," he wrote.

Anton Herashchenko, an adviser to the interior minister, was the first to report about the abduction of Melitopol mayor. According to him, 10 people entered the premises of the crisis center, put a bag on the mayor’s head and took him in an unknown direction.
