Kyiv preparing for all-around defense

"For the enemy, the capital remains the number one target to capture. Our territorial defense in Kyiv continues to strengthen its positions. The areas of Dymer-Kyiv, Kozelets-Brovary, Korostyshiv-Kyiv, Pyriatyn-Boryspil are important for defense,” Zhyrnov said in a video address published on the Kyiv City State Administration's website.

According to him, the main efforts of territorial defense are aimed at preparing the city for all-around defence in any conditions.

"We are setting up strongholds and barriers on all lines of defense. Every day our military receive more weapons and combat equipment," Zhyrnov said.

As reported, Kyiv continues to strengthen itself and get ready for the city's defense. At the same time, all critical infrastructure enterprises work.

The war against Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.
