Russian troops failed to make significant advances in past 24 hrs - Arestovych

Oleksiy Arestovych, a freelance adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, stated this at a briefing, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past day, the enemy has failed to advance on any section of the front. On the contrary, according to preliminary data, which need to be clarified, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated the city of Chuhuiv in Kharkiv region, where an important military airfield is located,” he said.

At the same time, Arestovych informed that the Russian invaders launched missile and air strikes on the cities of Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mariupol and Sumy region

He stressed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces retaliate against the Russian troops and counterattack in some areas.

As previously reported, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that the city of Chuhuiv in Kharkiv region had been liberated.
