About 3,000 U.S. volunteer fighters are willing to come to Ukraine to resist the Russian aggression.

The relevant report was posted on the channel “Operational Information of the Ukrainian Armed Forces” on Telegram.

It is noted that the volunteers are willing to resist the Russian Federation as part of an international battalion.

Among volunteer fighters are veterans of military operations in Iraq and other hotspots around the world. In total, more than 16,000 foreign volunteers are going to Ukraine.

As reported, Ukraine is creating an International Legion of Territorial Defense consisting of foreigners willing to join the resistance to Russian invaders and protect world security. Foreigners have the right to enlist in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract on a voluntary basis, including in the units of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On February 24, Russia declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation with the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
