In Odesa region, Russian warplanes strike Velykodolynske

The Russian air force launched a missile strike on the town of Velykodolynske, Odesa region, while as a result of adverse weather conditions at sea, the enemy pulled its warships out of the Odesa-Chornomorsk area in the Crimea direction.

This was announced by the spokesman for the Odesa Regional Military Administration Operational HQ, Serhiy Bratchuk, Ukrinform reports.

"On the morning of March 5, enemy aircraft struck the settlement of Velykodolynske. According to the operational headquarters, the blow was inflicted on critical infrastructure facilities, no one was injured," Bratchuk said.

According to the official, a group of Russia’s large landing ships maneuvering on a long-distance raid off the coast of Odesa, regrouped and withdrew in the eastern direction due to bad weather. However, the threat of naval landings remains in place.

Chornomorsk Mayor Vasyl Huliaev specified that two missiles were launched at Velykodolynske. The administrative building on the premises of a military base was destroyed in the strike.
