" Four adults and two children were killed in Russia’s air strike on Izium, Kharkiv region. They stayed in a private house," Deputy Mayor of Izium Volodymyr Matsokin said, Ukrinform reports with reference to Suspilne.
According to him, the attack began at about 23:59 on Wednesday, March 2. The shells hit a high-rise apartment block and a private house.
On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive attacks on residential districts of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.
