Ukraine has begun to overtake military initiative, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov announced.

According to Danilov, the Ukrainian military, territorial defense members, the entire security and defense sector are working in full mobilization, the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security posted on Facebook.

According to the NSDC Secretary Ukraine has begun to overtake military initiative.

"To date, none of the goals of the orc plan has been achieved. We strike back in all directions. But heavy fighting continues," Danilov said.

The task of the Ukrainian information resistance is to tell the relatives of the Russian military about the real number of victims and prisoners, he stressed.

According to Danilov, Ukrainian national mobilization and Ukrainian resistance to aggression keep growing stronger every day.

As of 06:00, February 28, the estimated losses of the Russian aggressor are 5,300 people.

Russian president Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24 and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation at the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
