The next 24 hours will be crucial for Ukraine in the fight against Russian invasion, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has said in a phone call with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Ukrinform reports this with reference to the UK government portal.

“President Zelensky said he believed the next 24 hours was a crucial period for Ukraine,” the report says.

In turn, the UK Prime Minister said he would do all he could to help ensure defensive aid from the UK and allies reached Ukraine.

As Ukrinform, reported, on Sunday evening, President Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Boris Johnson and President of Poland Andrzej Duda discussed the current security situation and agreed on further joint steps to counter the aggressor.
