Minister Fedorov calls on Viber and PayPal CEOs to block their services in Russia

Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov has called on Rakuten Viber CEO Hiroshi Mikitani and PayPal CEO Dan Schulman to block their services in the Russian Federation.

"We are developing the isolation of the aggressor! I asked CEOs of Rakuten Viber and PayPal to block their services in Russia," Fedorov posted on Facebook.

He also addressed the Russians.

"Young people and conscious Russians, wake up," the minister urged.

Russian president Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24 and launched a large-scale invasion.

Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure for four days already, while missiles have been hitting residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
