Russian invasion update: Vasylkiv hit with Russian missiles, oil depot nearby on fire

Russian occupiers have hit the city of Vasylkiv, Kyiv Region, with cruise or ballistic missiles.

The relevant statement was made by Advisor to the Ukrainian Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Bastards have just launched another cruise or ballistic missile strike against Vasylkiv,” Gerashchenko wrote and posted photos provided by witnesses.

According to Gerashchenko, missile strikes have caused fire.

In addition, Vasylkiv Mayor Nataliia Balasynovych has reported that an oil depot, which is situated in the village of Kriachky near Vasylkiv, is on fire.

Fierce fighting is also underway on the outskirts of the village of Kalynivka; gunfire can be heard from both directions.
