Fourteen military and territorial defense members and six civilians, including a child, have been killed since Russian forces launched an attack on Kyiv.

Vitali Klitschko announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In Kyiv, six civilians, including a child, and 14 military and territorial defense members have been killed since the attack on the capital was launched. As many as 71 people were injured. Of whom were twenty-five civilians, including three children," Klitschko wrote.

Anton Herashchenko, an adviser to the Interior Minister, clarified on Telegram that a boy was killed In Russian military attack on Kyiv.

In addition, according to Herashchenko, five wounded people, including three children, were hospitalized to the capital's children's hospital Okhmatdyt.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion of the country. Missile strikes were carried out on a number of Ukrainian cities, military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were attacked.

Martial law was introduced in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree introducing general mobilization.
