Turkey: 16 Ukrainians injured in road accident

Due to the road accident in Turkey, which occurred this morning near the city of Mugla, 16 Ukrainians have been injured, two of them need surgery.

Official representative of the Department of Consular Service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Vasyl Kyrylych said this to Ukrinform.

"Sixteen citizens of Ukraine were injured in the road accident in Turkey, two people needed surgical intervention, the best doctors were involved. Other people have minor injuries," Kyrylych said.

He has added that the Embassy of Ukraine to Turkey, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine to Dalaman, an insurance company and a tour operator are taking all measures to provide assistance to the victims.

As reported, the bus was traveling Thursday from popular tourist destination of Bodrum to Denizli province when it skidded on a rainy road and tipped over.
