Over 10,000 explosive devices disposed in Balakliia – Minister Zubko

Over 10,000 explosive devices have been detected in the city of Balakliia and nearby villages in Kharkiv region.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko stated this at a press briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“As of today, 10 villages have been cleared, and over 10,000 explosive devices have been disposed,” Zubko said.

As Ukrinform reported, on March 23, at 2.45 a.m., a massive fire broke out at some sites of ammunition storage depot, located near the city of Balakliia, Kharkiv region, which triggered explosions.
