Defense Ministry: Five dead in Mi-2 crash near Kramatorsk (video)

According to preliminary data, five persons were killed as a result of the Mi-2 helicopter crash near the town of Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine on March 26.

Defense Ministry’s Spokesperson for ATO issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk said this on 112 TV Channel.

The accident occurred after 3 p.m.

"According to preliminary information, there are 5 dead persons: three crew members and two passengers," he said.

According to Motuzianyk, rescuers and officers of the ATO headquarters are working at the crash site.

On March 26, the Mi-2 military helicopter crashed near Kramatorsk following the collision with a power line, according to preliminary information.
