State Emergency Service: Almost 300 people evacuated from Avdiivka

As of February 6, a total of 290 people were evacuated from the city of Avdiivka in Donbas, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
“As of 7 a.m., February 6, 290 people, including elderly persons and 135 children, were evacuated from the city of Avdiivka, as well as 24 people, including 11 children – over the past 24 hours,” reads a report.
In addition, 260 people and 60 units of equipment have been involved in the repair and restoration work, including 95 people and 32 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service, 63 people and three units of equipment from the National Police, 53 people and 16 units of equipment from municipal services of the city, and 49 people and 9 units of equipment from Avdiivsky by-product coke plant.
