As part of efforts to eliminate the consequences of Russian strikes, the Ukrainian government is focusing on buildings where heat supply has not been restored for a long time, as well as on assisting people with limited mobility.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said this on Telegram following an energy coordination meeting on restoring the power system after another Russian attack, Ukrinform reports.

"The government is doing everything to restore electricity and heat to people as quickly as possible. In particular, we are promptly restoring damaged generation, have maximized imports as much as possible, and are bringing new alternative capacities online. Special attention is being paid to people with limited mobility. The ministries and all services are working to support them. Local authorities must be just as active. The focus is also on buildings where heat supply has not been restored for a long time," she wrote.

Svyrydenko noted that the enemy had cynically attacked, including with ballistic missiles, Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as the Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions. According to her, more than 30 people were wounded in Kharkiv.

She said that in Kyiv, the Russians once again deliberately struck civilian infrastructure and the energy sector. She expressed condolences to the relatives of a woman who was killed in the shelling.

"Rescuers, energy workers, and municipal services are working continuously on the ground to restore services," Svyrydenko said.
