In Voznesensk, every fifth resident receives compensation for damaged or destroyed houses

In the Mykolaiv region, 22% of the residents of Voznesensk, whose houses and apartments were damaged or destroyed as a result of Russian aggression, have already received compensation under the eRecovery program.

The Voznesensk City Council reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reported 

"In total, 669 residential buildings in the Voznesensk community were damaged or destroyed as a result of Russian aggression, and another 32 were destroyed. 22% of homeowners have already received compensation. The commission has reviewed 172 applications so far. According to its decision, compensation was paid to 137 people for UAH 10.7 million," the statement said.

The community notes that 32 people were denied compensation because their homes were restored at their own expense, the damage category to the house was incorrectly determined, an incomplete package of documents was provided, etc.

In addition, the commission for consideration of compensation for destroyed real estate due to hostilities considered 15 applications. In particular, we are talking about 13 residents of a destroyed five-story building on Kotliarevskoho Street who received housing certificates worth UAH 13.9 million.

Housing certificates were also provided to residents of two destroyed houses for a total of UAH 4.1 million.

As reported, 866 residents of Mykolaiv will receive compensation for damaged housing under the eRecovery program, with 2,059 applications received from residents of the regional center.
