Trilateral Contact Group videoconference: Kyiv demands separation of forces, release of journalist Sushchenko

The Trilateral Contact Group for peaceful settlement of Donbas conflict held a videoconference with participation of representatives of certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Darka Olifer, the spokeswoman for Ukraine’s representative in the Group Leonid Kuchma, posted this on her Facebook page.

"The Ukrainian side firmly raised the question of disruption of a framework decision on separation of forces and equipment on the side of certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, in particular, near Stanytsia Luhanska village, as well as on non-compliance of militants with ceasefire regime and other obligations under the Minsk agreements," she wrote.

"In addition, Ukraine raised the question of release of the captives. We demanded that the Russian side release Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko," Olifer stressed.
